Larry Hagman Joins ‘Desperate Housewives’ Cast

Veteran US television actor Larry Hagman will reportedly be joining the cast of popular American television drama series ‘Desperate Housewives’. According to reports in the media, Larry Hagman will start work on his next television project this month, so that the episodes featuring the very popular actor may be aired early next year. In a statement to the media, Larry Hagman said that he did not think much after the offer was made to him and gave his word immediately to start with work on ‘Desperate Housewives’.

The irony in the whole incident is that Larry Hagman is not even acquainted with ‘Desperate Housewives’! He was recently heard sharing with the media that he does not watch television at all and therefore is not aware of the TV soap. But Larry Hagman is also quick to remind us that an iPad is always there to get him in touch with ‘Desperate Housewives’!

Larry Hagman’s most famous role on television was in the 1980s show ‘Dallas’ where he was seen as oil tycoon J.R. Ewing. ‘Dallas’ turned Larry Hagman into a household name. The actor was last seen on the television screen in the 2006 TV drama series Nip/Tuck. His comeback to the small screen next year will see him playing the partner of the character Stella Wingfield in ‘Desperate Housewives’.

Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya: Can Aarushi Avoid Her Honeymoon With Shakti?

Star Plus’ leading show ‘Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya’ is now giving all the necessary twists and spices to keep their loyal viewers glued to the television sets. As per the latest developments, Aarushi is still angry with Pratigya and has passed one night with Shakti, who is unaware what happened with them last night after he drank the milk.

Now, Shakti is very excited about his honeymoon with Aarushi and asks her to start packing for that. But Aarushi asks him if they can postpone the honeymoon for the time being as she is not feeling well. On hearing this, Shakti turns restless and asks her that he will get her treated on their way but he cannot wait anymore for the honeymoon. Aarushi was seen tensed and Pratigya comes to support her. But this irritates Aarushi much more and she insults her elder sister once again.

Shakti starts packing and asks Aarushi to hurry for the same. On the other hand, Pratigya tries to motivate Shakti’s first wife Kesar and asks her to be strong and fight against this illegal marriage.

Now, it will be interesting to see if Kesar can really accumulate the strength to fight against her husband. Will Aarushi be able to avoid going for honeymoon with Shakti? It is sure that Aarushi does not like Shakti and has married him only to take revenge from Partigya!

Kardashian sisters are growing as designers

London, Dec 11 – American television personality Khloe Kardashian says she and her sisters Kim and Kourtney are all growing and getting more confident as designers.

The Kardashian sisters have their own range of clothes, swimwear and accessories, and Khloe says all three of them are comfortable with their work, femalefirst.co.uk reports.

‘I think every time we have a new collection, our stuff gets better and better because we get more comfortable designing and they get more comfortable with letting us design. It’s just a really fun collaboration,’ she says.

‘We make sure at least two of us are at every meeting, at least two of us have to agree. If there is three of us and one doesn’t agree but two do, then we outweigh each other,’ she adds.

Saas Bina Sasural: Toasty Successful At First Task!

December 11, 2010: The drama in the Sony Entertainment Television daily soap is increasing by the day ever since Toasty aka Tanya has entered the home of Tej after getting married to him. As the name suggests, Tej’s home is devoid of any female member and in the absence of a saas or her mother-in-law in the house, Toasty who is not at all acquainted with the daily chores of life, will henceforth have to take care of everything beginning from cleaning to cooking! And her only support in the house is hubby Tej and only support outside the home is her mom.

And it is her mom whom Toasty depends upon when she has to cook the afternoon meal for the family of seven males. The last episode shows Toasty cooking a meal of ‘daal and chawal’, constantly speaking over the phone with her mother, who unfortunately spends more time worrying about her daughter than advising her on how to cook the meal. But Toasty somehow manages and she is successful in her venture, though she is still skeptical about her in laws’ reactions after they taste the food.

Meanwhile, a cockroach drops into the bowl of daal cooked by Toasty and she starts crying thinking that her entire effort has gone to waste. It is Tej who comes to her rescue assuring her that all she has to do is throw away the cockroach because the family is used to having food mixed with cockroach juices! Toasty does serve the food to the family, who fall in love with her culinary skills, and do not even bother upon hearing that a cockroach had dropped into the daal!

‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 4’: Dance Floor Turns Film Promotion Ground

December 11, 2010: While ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 4’ is coming back with a bang with the beautiful  Madhuri Dixit making a comeback to the Indian entertainment arena and the currently hot Malaika ‘Munni’ Arora Khan ready to sizzle and judge, a few other actors are also trying to share the limelight of one of India’s most popular dance reality shows.

According to reports circulating in the media, cast and crew members of upcoming Bollywood release Tees Maar Khan will visit the sets of ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 4’ to promote their eagerly awaited film in front of the television and live audience of the TV dance program. Good news for India as they will get to see not one but two Bollywood beauties on the stage of ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 4’ at the launch episode to be broadcast this weekend. Yes, while Madhuri Dixit is the judge for the entire series, she will be joined by Katrina Kaif, who will promote Tees Maar Khan and also act as guest judge of the Sunday episode.

Katrina Kaif will be joined by costar Akshay Kumar and director of TMK Farah Khan who will talk about their film and also probably groove to the ‘Sheila ki Jawani’ track from the film which has already become the most favorite dance number of India.
