Pavitra Rishta: Can Vaishali And Dharmesh’s Marriage Survive Despite His Infidelity?

Zee TV’s popular primetime show ‘Pavitra Rishta’ has again come with a new twist but this time the concentration has shifted to Vaishali (Prarthana Behere), the youngest sister of the lead actress Archana (Ankita Lokhande). The track of Vaishali and Dharmesh’s (Sumit Arora) married life was sidelined for few days but now the main storyline will be around them only.
The recent episodes have shown the other side of usually committed husband of Dharmesh. It seems that Dharmesh is intentionally hiding his past from his wife and still maintaining his relationships with a woman with whom he has a son. He lies to Vaishali to be with his four year old son, who is not well and is admitted to a hospital in Pune.
Co-incidentally, Manav (Sushant Singh Rajput) and Archana also went to Pune on a holiday and they happen to meet the kid and his mother but they are still in dark about their identity. Archana gets to see Dharmesh outside the hospital and calls her up to confirm but he says he is in Sholapur. This increases her suspicion because she has already seen him in Pune.
Now, the trailers show that Manav will get to know about Dharmesh’s infidelity. So in such a situation, will he inform about it to Vaishali? Will Vaishali be able to pardon Dharmesh for hiding his past? Can their marriage survive this hard time? Keep watching ‘Pavitra Rishta’ on Zee TV at 9pm from Monday to Friday to know the developments.

Bigg Boss 4: The Tearful Veena Malik On Aakhri Salaam

It was on Saturday night that Veena Malik was made to bid adieu to the ‘Bigg Boss’ house with her Aakhri Salaam being one of the most sensational ones ever.
Veena Malik looked stunning as usual in a black sari with silver embroidered border giving out her best pouts whenever required. However, throughout her Aakhri Salaam she was in tears and it was as though she had come out of the house with her tear taps open in full swing. But why was this hot shot gal so emotional?
What was it that had got her to be so tearful when she should have been proud that she did manage to stay there for a whole 80 days which in itself is an achievement?
However, when accused of being self obsessed the gal accepted the fact with teary eyes again giving an insight into her life saying that she was made to live away from her parents and thus chose to talk to herself by looking at the mirror saying nice things to herself.
Well this was quite touching for many her fans as herself obsession which once seemed very arrogant now seemed to be quite justified, as who doesn’t want to be loved and cared for in this planet? Thus when Veena Malik was presented with a mirror by hunk Salman Khan on behalf of Bigg Boss she was quite thrilled and kissed it right in the centre! Salman was quite amused with her lipstick mark on the mirror though. Then as she was presented with a lovely white and silver sparkling watch from Salman’s ‘Being Human’ collection it was quite a moment on the show.
As Veena Malik declared her unadulterated love for Ashmit Patel, she was in tears again and if there is anything that the viewers of this Aakhri Salaam can remember it is the tearful Veena Malik.

Veena Malik gone; will Ashmit Patel be cornered?

After Sara Khan, Ashmit Patel has had to bid farewell to another ‘good friend’ Veena Malik, who was evicted from Bigg Boss this Friday.
The Pakistani starlet was the last of the housemates to maintain a pro-Ashmit stand. She used to pamper him like a baby; feeding him his morning dose of papaya, making and serving chai, cooking his favourite dishes, massaging him and even providing the daily dose of kisses and bear hugs.
In fact, Veena was the only person Ashmit could count on, while other housemates disliked his frank and straight-forward ways.
Moreover, it was the couple’s obvious fondness for each other that added spice, not only to their lives, but also to the viewer’s interest.
For latecomers, Veena’s affection for Ashmit surfaced during their task this Diwali, where night cameras caught her fondling and caressing him, as he fell asleep. Despite their arguments, the couple had immense understanding for each other and Veena had become Ashmit’s emotional support in a House full of back-biters.
Now that Veena is out, everyone expects Ashmit to be cornered by the unruly Dolly Bindra, who seems to be calculatingly waiting for another chance to pounce on him.
But the Bollywood actor’s publicist Dale Bhagwagar is still confident of his client. “A little aloofness will give Ashmit a breather and time to introspect in a House full of stress. Knowing him, I can vouch for his guts to slug it out and try to be a survivor even in this hostile environment,” remarked the PR specialist.
As the drama escalates, only time will tell, how Ashmit Patel will cope with life without Veena Malik in the Bigg Boss House.

What Can Be Expected On ‘Bigg Boss 4’ Final Episode On January 7?

The drama inside ‘Bigg Boss’ house has come across more than two months and now the final moment has come when the curtain has to go down disclosing the name of the winner of ‘Bigg Boss 4’. The last six contestants have two more weeks to fight out to the top level.
In tonight’s episode, Veena Malik, Khali or Ashmit Patel will be evicted and the house will be left with five members. However, the channel has already started preparing for the final episode on January 7, which will see reunion of the former contestants of previous seasons as well as evictees of this season.
Model Hrishant Goswami, who was evicted from the Bigg Boss house few weeks back, said that he has been approached to perform on the final episode and he has agreed. The aspiring actor is very excited after coming out of the show and says that the show’s host superstar Salman Khan has promised to help him in his acting aspiration.
Salman Khan will be performing on the finale evening and he is supposed to be joined by Mallika Sherawat, Terrence Lewis and Javed Jaffrey, who will be judging the kids’ reality show ‘Chak Dhoom Dhoom’.
There is high pressure being built up inside the ‘Bigg Boss’ house now and we hope Dolly Bindra does not burst out again!
It will be interesting to see the evicted contestants coming together again and how they react with each other. However, the biggest question is that who will be the winner so keep guessing till then.

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Finalists Keep Themselves Open To Plan B!

Santa will pour the best gift to one of the ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar’ finalists this Saturday when everyone will be in the mood of Christmas. The grand finale of the reality show will be aired live on Saturday evening and one lucky finalist will become the Singing Superstar and take home the grand prize money and the contract.
Abhilasha Venkatachellum, the 21 year old girl from Pune will compete with two other male finalists on the live episode. The 23 year old guy Bishakh Jyoti from Kolkata and 21 year old Kamal Khan from Patiyala will face each other on the stage for the last time. The fate of three aspiring Singing Superstars now depends on the audience votes.
However, the youngsters do not seem to be very worried about losing the title. All of them have their plan B and will pursue that if they fail to win the title tomorrow. Abhilasha, who was one of the finalists of the Marathi Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, says that she wants to educate herself in music and will teach music to the kids. She also wants to invent a plan to treat illness with the help of music.
On the other hand, both the boys plan to have their own albums and turn composer. They also plan to shift their base to Mumbai as both of them are from other parts of the country.
One of them will not have to think for plan B because he or she won’t get the time to think of it as the channel offers a contract and the winner will remain busy throughout the year.

I will never want my show to stoop down: Shah Rukh

The TV industry today might be inundated with regular notifications, criticisms and controversies for its reality show content but Shah Rukh Khan, who is making his comeback on the small screen as the host of ‘Zor Ka Jhatka’ on Imagine TV, says his will be a dignified show, just like the superstar himself.
‘I might joke around, fool around with my loved ones, entertain people at length. Sometimes they misinterpret it but I believe I am a dignified person. I am a dignified husband, a father, a brother, a son-in-law,’ Shah Rukh told IANS in an interview here.
‘I will never want my show to stoop down to a level where I feel ashamed of it. I will never do or let any kind of misbehaviour rule my show just for TRP ratings as people say.’
The 45-year-old has earlier hosted shows like ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ (2007) and ‘Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain?’ (2008) and people loved him for his natural wit and humour that had audiences in splits.
Last month, the information and broadcasting ministry cracked down on two shows – ‘Bigg Boss’ and ‘Rakhi Ka Insaaf’ – by issuing directives to change their telecast timings following viewers’ complaints about vulgar content being proliferated through them.
Shah Rukh’s new show is the Indian edition of the internationally popular ‘Wipeout’.
‘Zor Ka Jhatka’ will see 28 TV stars battling it out in an obstacle course set in Argentina and the superstar also claimed he will stand as an apostle of love and peace to curb eventual male egoes on the show.
‘Fights on my show are a little dicey to see. I am a love maker and not a fight maker. And if they do, I will stand as a peacemaker then,’ he said in his trademark dimpled smile with visible ripples around his cheeks.
Asked about his competitive strategy to tackle other celebrity hosts on the small screen, he said: ‘Till the time competition is healthy everything works perfect. Everybody is doing their job and are giving it their best shot.’
‘My competition is with myself and not any celebrity. I truly believe that I do a good job, I work very hard and I will keep working hard. And that is what is of concern to me,’ he added in his nonchalant King Khan manner.
So will the host perform any adventure sports too?
‘The first thing that I made clear to the channel was that please don’t make me go there and do any of those sports. They want me to do a promo where I need to do some of the activities, but I’m not looking forward to it. Getting dipped in mud, drenched out in dirty water – I can’t take that humiliation. But lets see,’ he quipped.
The show will go on air in January next year.

TV actors plan parties, breaks for New Year’s eve

Small screen actors like Ratan Rajput, Iqbal Khan and Kunika Lal have either decided to take a much-needed break from their shooting schedules or have their party plans intact for New Year’s eve.
Some hope to ring in the New Year with family and friends and there are a few who wish to celebrate in their own, sweet little ways:
Ratan Rajput: If I am given a holiday on New Year’s eve, I will spend it with my sister and family in Delhi. So I am eagerly looking forward to sometime off with my near and dear ones.
Gaurav Khanna: I am planning to take a break from work for New Year’s eve. Though I traditionally go out of Mumbai every year, this year I plan to spend time in this wonderful city just to absorb the feel good energy that every Mumbaikar seems to ooze out at this time of the year. Their energy is simply infectious!
Iqbal Khan: Like every year, this year too, I will go on vacation with my wife to a foreign locale. I would really like to surprise her because she is the one who usually does all the planning every year. It will be so much fun to see the expression on her face when I break the news, especially when I have told her that I am working during that week.
Karan V. Grover: Luckily, this New Year’s eve we have been given three days off from shoots so I will end up bringing it in either hot air balloon or deep sea in Dubai! The adrenaline rush in these adventure sports is like no other.
Aruna Irani: I hope you don’t expect me to party and dance the night away. I’ve had my own share of fun in my younger days. These days, I like to just relax and spend some quality time with family. When we’re in the mood to step out, we do go and enjoy a family dinner at some place nice. Masala Kraft at the Taj is a personal favourite.
Usha Nadkarni: I’ll definitely go for a short holiday, if I get a break. I’m tired of shooting relentlessly throughout day and listening to roll, action and cut! I’m not a party person at all. I enjoy sitting at home and watching television. All the entertainment channels line up some great stuff during these times and I love watching them.
Kunika Lal: I invariably go club-hopping on New Year’s eve as just one party isn’t good enough. I have a whole bunch of friends who’re party animals and we like to check out the scene across a number of happening hot-spots in and around Mumbai. This year, I’m in the mood for something quieter so I’ll probably head off to Lonavala with my close ones.

What Will Happen To Geet-Maan Wedding When Anvesha Faces The Truth?

Star One is keeping no stone unturned to keep viewers hooked to its popular show ‘Geet Hui Sabse Parayi’. When the viewers were feeling little monotonous with Maan and Geet’s on and off love story, they brought two new characters in the form of Anvesha, Maan’s sister and Arjun, Naintara’s brother.
Now, Maan and Geet are finally set to tie the knot very soon but things are not going to take shape so easily for Geet, who has always some or the other problems in her life. Initially, we have seen Geet and Anvesha turning very good friends and she is managing everything to organize a grand marriage of her elder brother. The last episode has shown Anvesha facing the fact that Dev and Maan had a great confrontation and the reason behind this is Geet. However, she is yet unaware of the reason that made these brothers fight with each other.
Tasha tries to put some poison in Anvesha’s mind by speaking against Geet but Adi stops her doing that. A curious Anvesha asks Dadima about the reason behind Dev and Naintara’s absence from Geet and Maan’s marriage but she also avoids her question. Now, Anvesha is angry and goes straight to Geet with the same question. Geet is nervous and does not want to spoil the good environment within the family so she does not tell anything to Anvesha, who is very angry now.
Considering the present situation, it seems that Geet will have to face another challenge before she can finally marry Maan. Will Anvesha create some problem in the marriage if Dev and Naintara are not called back home? Will she understand the plight of Geet if she comes to know the truth?
Keep watching ‘Geet Hui Sabse Parayi’ on Star One at 9.30 pm from Monday to Saturday to know the latest development in their love story.

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4: The First Elimination Surprise The Judges

Madhuri Dixit
The fourth season of ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ is back and it has already packed a punch of surprise on its first elimination night. While Shushant Singh Rajput from the serial ‘Pavitra Rishta’ scored a perfect 30 there were also some mismatched or slow performances like that of Daya the super cop from serial CID, the boxer Akhil Kumar and veteran actress Renuka Shahane.
But singer Anushka Manchanda was in no position to get eliminated after the first dance show-down. However, ‘JDJ’ is another such reality show where the contestants’ dancing skills, ability and style is not the only thing that would count. A contestants’ fan base is of utmost importance to survive and lift the trophy in this competition.
So going by that trend, the lover boy, or a good bahu, or a super cop stands a better chance of lifting the trophy than anyone else due to their fan base. But the dance show is a place where the viewers can witness the non-dancers improving by leaps and bounds to become a part of a contest that has no place for people with two left feet.
Apart from Shushant, the other contestants that were worth mentioning for setting the stage on fire were Shekhar Suman and Krushna Abhishek. The latter contestant was pretty good to have an encore with Malaika Arora Khan and it was delight to watch.

Television Follows Bollywood Path, Explores Out Of Mumbai

Mera Naam Karegi Roshan
The television industry of India has come a long way and is now crossing the boundary of sets in Mumbai while trying to explore the original location for their stories. This gives not only a realistic feel to the story but also a fresh pace to any show that tries to venture the arena.
It is not like that television industry has got bored of the city of dreams but they are just exploring new avenues to give something new to their viewers. This new trend has been set by Zee TV’s recently concluded show ‘12/24 Karol Bagh’, which is the first television soap to have shot in Delhi entirely. It got lots of appreciation for the authentic representation of a typical Delhi based middle class family and how they deal with various situations in their lives.
Then we have seen serials like ‘Sanjog Se Bani Sangini’, which has been shot in the places like Haridwar and Pataudi. There are three more serials of Zee TV, which have been shot outside Mumbai. These are ‘Ram Milayi Jodi’, whose shooting has been done in Delhi, recently launched ‘Bhagowali’, which has been shot in Patna, ‘Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli’ is shot in Madhya Pradesh’s Orcha and Ayodhya became the shooting place for ‘Mera Naam Karegi Roshan’.
It seems that television industry is slowly but steadily following the path of Bollywood, which goes around the world for shooting various scenes.
Zee TV’s Sukesh Motwani said that it also helps in expanding the industry outside Mumbai and increases their reach to all the people around the country. People can get a real feel of the story when the actual place is shown with its tradition and cultures.

Dolly Bindra becomes violent again

When the thunderstorm of the Bigg Boss house retuned back, she was a cool breeze but as time passed Dolly Bindra came back to her old form, loud, aggressive and outspoken. She took up fight with Ashmit Patel and both had a war of words.
For the last few days, Dolly was very quite and did not interfere in fights. She tried to remain calm and her friendly behavior helped her to add her friend list. But her violent avatar cut short her friend list.
Dolly accused Ashmit Patel and Veena Malik for not doing any household chores. She suggested that the duo should not be given the garden area task as they are very lazy and the entire day, they chatted and don’t do any work.
On the other hand, Ashmit and Veena discussed as how hard they work. Dolly the whole day accused Ashmit. Even foe turned friend, Shweta Tiwari bitched about Dolly.
Well, Dolly’s old loud avatar might not go well with the housemates but it will definitely raise the TRPs of the show.

Chand Chupa Badal Mein: Will Nivedita Disclose Everything To Divya?

Star Plus’ Prime Time show ‘Chand Chupa Badal Mein’ is going through some situations where the family is happy about Divya’s first ‘Karva Chauth’ but Nivedita is left neglected. Daadi is in hospital and her favorite grand-daughter ‘Nivi’ is not allowed to meet her. But one good thing has happened in her life and that is recovery of Sood family’s patriarch dadaji, who is supporting Nivedita.
However, Chanchal is still playing her game and is not ready to accept Nivedia as her daughter-in-law. She is showing least interest in the preparations of Nivi’s ‘Karva chauth’ whereas Vandana is very excited about her daughter-in-law Divya’s first ‘Karva chauth’. On seeing this, Nivedita gets upset but she manages the situation as usual.
On the other hand, Chanchal has put all evil things in Divya’s mind and the situations have made her bound to suspect her sister Nivedita, whom she loves very much. After taking their ‘sargi’ everyone leaves dining table, then Divya asks Nivi why she chose to marry Viren when she does not love him at all. She forces Nivi to answer her question making the innocent girl nervous and confused because she can’t disclose that she married Viren only to save Divya’s marriage with Siddharth. Zee TV’s ‘Choti Bahu’ to return with new storyline

Zee TV’s popular show ‘Choti Bahu’, which ended in September, is set to make a comeback in the new year with a fresh storyline, but with the same lead actors Avinash Sachdev and Rubina Dilak.
The show, a tale of a couple, Dev and Radhika, torn apart by adverse circumstances, is returning on public demand.
‘We are overwhelmed by the response we’ve received from the viewers on ‘Choti Bahu’. Since the time the show went off air, we have been flooded with calls, SMS’s and mails to revive the magic of Dev and Radhika,’ Deeya Singh, the show’s producer said in a press statement.
‘Infact, we even got innumerable hate mails from India and abroad when the show ended. We had no idea that Dev and Radhika as characters would become so popular and masses would love them so much,’ she added.
The actors too are looking forward to the new season.
‘I could not believe when Zee TV said they wanted to make ‘Choti Bahu’ again and cast me and Rubina once again as Dev and Radhika. There are very few shows which get a second chance and I’m glad that our show is one of them. It is all the more challenging as it’s a new story,’ said Avinash.
Rubina shares the same sentiment and said: ‘It’s a complete new show with an entirely new packaging. The only resemblance is that Avinash and I play Dev and Radhika again, but in a totally different ‘avatar’. We hope that the audience loves it equally.’

Barun Sobti
Barun Sobti, the popular face of ‘Baat Hamari Pakki Hai’ aired on Sony Entertainment Television tied the knot to the love of his life in a very private ceremony held on the 12th of December. According to reports in the media, only close friends and family members of Barun Sobti were present in the wedding ceremony. When quizzed by the media on his changing status so suddenly, Barun Sobti reveals that he is now a very happy man as he is now married to the love of his life. However, the television actor did not reveal the name of his bride citing reasons of conservatism!
The news of his marriage came as a surprise to many of his fans because at the age of 26 Barun Sobti has just started out on a career in Indian television with only two popular serials to his name. Given his good looks, the actor had already acquired a huge female fan following and he is now being blamed for breaking a million hearts!
It has also been heard that none of the unit members of his latest TV serial ‘Baat Hamari Pakki Hai’ on which he is still working, had been invited to his marriage. When quizzed, Barun Sobti said that the director would allow only one among the cast members to take a leave and hence it had to be the groom who had to be present at his wedding! That means Ankita Sharma, his costar and onscreen wife in ‘Baat Hamari Pakki Hai’, who has also become a very good friend of Barun Sobti over the past few months, had to remain absent from the marriage celebrations.
Being a true professional, Barun Sobti worked on his television project even the day after his marriage. However he is off to Goa now to spend a few days honeymooning with his wife!

Seema Parihar evicted from Bigg Boss

Seema Parihar
Jungle queen of Chambal Seema Parihar has been evicted from Bigg Boss 4. She was nominated along with Sameer Soni, Khali. Seema Parihar played very well as she managed to stay in the house for a long time. Despite no fan following, she managed to stay in the house till the end.

Her simple nature and decent behavior earned her maximum number of votes. Her length of stay in the house was totally unexpected looking at her de-glam factor and no celebrity backing. But she impressed one and all with her polite nature.

She gelled well with every member of the house shared a good rapport with Shweta Tiwari.

Bigg Boss 4: Ashmit Patel,Veena Malik Torn Between Love And Hate In Relationship

Veena Malik & Ashmit Patel in Bigg Boss 4
Well the last episode had Veena Malik getting very upset with Ashmit Patel over her stilettos not being kept by him properly after the task of hiding them was done successfully by him and Shweta Tiwari.

As Ashmit went and got the shoes down, he asked Veena where the shoes should be kept. Veena who was quite irritated asked him to clean them up and then keep them in place.

Ashmit who did not like Veena's rude tone simply kept all the shoes in the wash room. This annoyed Veena and she went on to argue with Ashmit. All this went on till Ashmit walked off in a huff and Veena sat down crying her woes in front of Khali and the rest of the inmates. Sameer Soni sympathized with her and agreed that Ashmit had not done the right thing.

However, after Ashmit had taken off his anger and discussed his point with the others, he went to pacify the angry Veena. Amazingly Veena gave in to his sweet talk and both were seen talking normally to each other. This annoyed Sameer Soni so much that he warned Veena Malik that if next time she came running to him crying about Ashmit he would never ever sympathize with her.

Well, with love birds like Ashmit and Veena one really never knows when there is to be a fight and when a patch up!

Good friends !!
For those who thought that Sara Khan and Ashmit Patel shared a very special relationship that went beyond just being friends, here's the buzz. The television actress, who was eliminated from the house, clears the air.
She says, “Ashmit Patel is like a brother to me. Just because I let him close to me does not mean that I'm in love with him. We shared a special bond that people have hugely misunderstood.”
When told about what the inmates thought of Ashmit and her relationship, she adds, “I have just got married and that's not a nice thing to say about a married woman.” Unlike the other elminated contestants, Khan is very pleased to be out of the house as her husband Ali Merchant's birthday is around the corner.
She says, “I wanted to be with Ali as this is his first birthday after our marriage. I'm planning a surprise for him. But, before that I plan to visit my hometown as I just got to know that my grandmother has passed away. I believe that she passed away while I was at the house but nobody bothered to inform me. As for my honeymoon plans, I will plan it after a visit to my late grandmother's house.”
