What Will ‘Wife Bina Life’ Make The Husbands Do On Television?

The Indian version of the Canadian hit show The Week The Woman Went is all set to make its debut on the small screen. Titled Wife Bina Life, the show will explore the home managerial qualities of a husband whose wife has taken some time off from her daily household chores.
The show will be shot in Pune and will span over 16 episodes. It will be hosted by Cyrus Sahukar and Mini Mathur, the anchors we have loved to love. 10 real life couples will participate in the show. Wife Bina Life will also have celebrity couples as guests to pep up the show and pull up its TRP. The show will reaffirm the truth that husbands do not know their house as their wives do. What the husbands do at the kitchen and how they manage their kids when their respective wives suddenly go missing is for the viewers to see. The husbands have to run the family without any helping hand.
The Canadian show has had two successful seasons in 2008 and 2009. Wife Bina Life will be jointly produced by Star Plus and BBC Worldwide Entertainment. The Senior Creative Director of Star Plus, Monica Shergill said that it’s a “slice of life show” and it will challenge the “gender stereotypes”. The aim of the show is to strengthen the bond between the husband and the wife by making the former aware of the responsibilities and importance of the later.
We thank Star Plus for taking on the mammoth task of making the husbands realize the true meaning of the word homemaker.

Karan Wahi Not Playing Male Lead In Star Plus’ ‘Love U Zindagi’

Television actor Karan Wahi, who became popular for his role Ranveer Sisodia in Star One’s youth based show ‘Remix’, has seemingly turned very choosy about his roles while picking new shows. The actor was the first choice for Star Plus’ show ‘Love U Zinadgi’, which is launching tonight but he chose to give it a miss.
Karan was approached to play the male lead in this new weekend show. He had a thorough discussion about the show with the production house Shreya Creations and the channel. So, the channel zeroed in him and stopped further search for the male lead as they found him best suitable to play the character.
However, things started changing when Karan stopped replying calls from the production house and seemed losing interest in the show. He even did not sign the contract. A source close to the development was quoted saying that Karan could use this as a golden opportunity but things did not work out finally. Initially he showed interest but he did not turn for meetings and this led to his removal from the show.
Confirming the news, Karan said that he was not convinced to work with the production house as it did not click him.
The show is launching tonight at the 7-8 pm slot and will be aired every Saturday and Sunday. However, the entry of male lead will take place after some time, so the channel has some time to search for a perfect face to replace Karan.

Thus they have to face the tough dictates of the law very firmly. The total format of the show is very unique and contemporary with some very bold youngsters getting into different areas of life full of danger and crime and they get caught by law enforcers and land up in prison.
However, as the senior inspector Damodar Deshmukh, played by Vikas Kumar is on to solve the toughest cases in a very unconventional manner and how he takes the help of the five youngsters who are very rich and have different contacts which help the Sr.inspector in solving cases which somehow get solved very efficiently.
The characters in the serial are all very interesting and the first episode had a masked man in a joker’s mask robbing a bank for just Rs. 8 thousand or so, and he leaves behind a black jacket which is very expensive –much more than the salaries of the senior inspector and his helper which sets the mind of the cop thinking in top speed. Veena, Ashmit made love in the quilt

Now that the fourth season of Bigg Boss has ended up, many untold and unseen secrets are coming out from the mouth of the contestants. Well, we have witness through out the episodes how intimate was Asmit Patel and Veena Malik but in a strong revelation and on condition of anonymity one of the contestants of Bigg Boss 4 opened the secret that the two lovebirds actually had sex inside the house.
The contestant shares his views, "Most of the contestants were irked with all that Ashmit and Veena did in the house. Hum sab unke saath baith nahin paate thay. Everybody would feel awkward in their presence. Sirf gale milne jaisi sadharan baat nahin hoti thi. I remember, they were given the task to guard the diya kept near the swimming pool, and we saw them snuggling in the quilt. Us din zaroor kuch hua tha. And of what I've heard, many viewers felt the same. It was all so disgusting. One of the key reasons for my exit was their growing intimacy. I'd requested Bigg Boss to evict me from the show. I couldn't take it anymore."

Ashmit declines being too close to Veena but at the same time expressed his desire to come close to the Pakistani actress if it was possible. Ashmit said that the camera installed here and there barred him from doing so.
Denying the allegations, Ashmit said, “No, it didn`t happen. I would have wanted something like that to happen, but I didn`t have the inclination."

He further adds, "With cameras installed everywhere, how is it possible for anyone to make love? And now that the show is over, I have no chance. But I have only gained from these rumours."

Shweta Tiwari, Dolly Bindra, The Great Khali DITCH Ashmit Patel!

When Bigg Boss gave the remaining four Housemates the liberty to make a unanimous decision about removing any one contestant from the House, they were all clear about whose names they would take.
Shweta Tiwari and The Great Khali wanted Dolly Bindra to leave and they discussed this in detail. In turn, Dolly wanted Shweta to leave. But Ashmit Patel voluntarily accepted to leave the House if that made the other Housemates happy. At this time, all the three other contestants strongly objected to Ashmit’s words and sacrifice, saying he should not leave. They reassured him that they stood by him and supported his continued stay in the House.
But when Bigg Boss asked the Housemates about their final decision, to everyone’s surprise, ALL three of the others – Dolly Bindra, The Great Khali as well as Shweta Tiwari – took a U-turn, unabashedly deserting and ditching Ashmit Patel for their personal gain of staying put in the House.
Exposing their double-standards, they all agreed to Ashmit’s ouster, without giving it second thought.
But God had other plans for the most genuine man on the show. As it turned out to be, Bigg Boss asked Ashmit to open the mysterious ‘red box’ which was given to Dolly two days ago, and the person who was voted out by the contestants, was not only allowed to stay back in the House, but also earned an extra prize money of five lakhs.

'Mukti Bandhan' Gets Ready For A January Broadcast

At the beginning of January, Colors television network will get ready to broadcast its new daily soap 'Mukti Bandhan'.
Going by the trailers that are presently doing the rounds on Colors, 'Mukti Bandhan' seems to be loosely based on the real life story of Indian business tycoon Dhirubhai Ambani. However, the makers of the television serial are not prepared to agree on this matter. In a statement to the media, the producers of 'Mukti Bandhan' have announced that their serial is based on a Gujarati novel of the same name.

According to the statements issued by the production team of 'Mukti Bandhan', they have purchased the rights to showcase the novel's story on television. And it is according to the story written on the pages of the Gujarati novel that the makers of the Colors show will frame the television format of 'Mukti Bandhan'. The novel penned by well known novelist Harkisan Mehta centers on the life of a man named Ishwarlal Motilal Virani and his rags to riches story.

The protagonist of the Colors television serial 'Mukti Bandhan', Ishwarlal Motilal Virani, will be portrayed by Shiv Subramaniam, the same man who was earlier credited for giving Bollywood some superb scripts in the form of 1942 A Love Story or the more recent Teen Patti. 'Mukti Bandhan' will go on air at the 9.30 night slot on Colors after the end of the its reality show 'Bigg Boss' from the 10th of January.
