Surekha Sikri: ‘Maa Exchange’ Won’t Show Unnecessary Things

Veteran television actress Surekha Sikri, who is going to appear in a new avatar in Sony TV’s upcoming reality show ‘Maa Exchange’, says that it is different from any other reality shows in Indian television.
Sikri has been appreciated for her strong character in Colors’ show ‘Balika Vadhu’ but she is hated for her toughness. Now, she will be gathering love of audience by hosting this new show, which according to her, will not show any unnecessary things. She promises that this show will surely offer something different to the viewers, who have been used to the overdose of emotional drama in the reality shows these days.
The veteran actress says that it gives her an opportunity to show her real self to the audience as she is not playing any character and will speak out whatever is in her mind. Sikri, who has been popular as the ‘dadisa’ of ‘Balika Vadhu’, says that the show will present some real situations, where a lady has to adjust with a new family and new house with their set rules. She thinks that the participants need to be really committed to perform the role of mother of someone else’s kids.
The show is launching on January 12 on Sony TV and Surekha is very excited to start the journey. Initially, it will show two mothers being exchanged for 10 days.
We hope, Sikri’s words come true and the viewers get to see some real reality show this time!
